ONE MADDISON (Taiki Yanagida, barrier 11) will kick off our day in the first on the card, set to run at 12.20pm. She disappointed last start, where she got no favours during the running. We plan to ride her more patiently today and believe there's no reason she shouldn't run well.
STAR TREASURE (Troy Harris, barrier 12) will step out in race 5 at 2.40pm. He lines up a fit horses in a very strong field. The track conditions certainly appeal and any further rain will only improve his chances.
SPRING HEAT is an unlikely runner.
TWEEDLEDEE (pictured) (Taiki Yanagida, barrier 15) will line up in the feature of the day - the Matamata Cup at 3.19pm. This will be his toughest assignment to date. He's got a great course/ distance record and going off that, it gives him some chance to run well.
ANDOYAS (Troy Harris, barrier 1) will line up in race 7 at 3.54pm. He's a hard horse to follow but his last run was very good, where he got no favours in the run. If he wants to put his best foot food, he's more than capable.
DIVINE DUKE will go head-to-head with Andoyas in race 7. He's been running good races, without really threatening. He lines up a fit horse and the rain that has fallen will suit him nicely.
