The Wexford truck is heading north to Pukekohe Park today, with four horses onboard. The track is currently graded as a heavy 11 and rail is in the true position.
DIVINE DUKE and TWEEDLEDEE will kick our day off in race 2 at 12.15pm.
DIVINE DUKE (pictured) (Joe Kamaruddin, barrier 9) is backing up after racing only seven days ago at Te Rapa Racing. He drops in class but is up in weight and will be assisted by the 4kg claimer 'Smoking Joe.' He always takes a considerable amount of racing to find his form but we think he's getting close.
TWEEDLEDEE (Taiki Yanagida, barrier 7) will have his first run this preparation over a middle distance. We were pleased with his run at Te Rapa, 3/8. There is however a question mark around how he'll handle the track conditions today.
PATCH MAN (Ashvin Goindasamy, barrier 13) will line up in race 6 at 2.39pm. He was narrowly beaten last time to the races at Matamata, 24/7. He will be assisted by the 3kg claim with the testing conditions, has continued to thrive in his work and looks bright heading into today.
JOHNNIE REDMOND (Darren Danis, barrier 13) will finish our day in race 8 at 3.49pm. He won well last start at Te Rapa, 20/7. He has continued to work well and hold his condition nicely. He steps up in class today and may take a run or two to find his feet in this class.
